| Summary | The ISSES project aims to improve the capacities of Serbian higher education institutions (HEI) in courses and programs specifically developed in the field of Information Security. The existing capacities are limited to introductory level courses organized at 3 out of 4 of the involved HEIs. Additionally, there are no laboratories specifically developed to support educational activities in Information Security. In the desired, future situation the HEIs will be trained by the EU-based HEIs to develop advanced courses and supporting laboratories. Additionally, the students graduating at the participating HEIs will possess all skills necessary to enter the labor market and get their first job in the information security domain. The students will also possess the necessary knowledge to pass entry-level, industry-specific certification exams. The above described future situation will be reached by executing a combination of three groups of project activities: knowledge transfer, curriculum development and laboratory development. The industrial partners will take an active role in the curriculum development tasks by defining a list of necessary information security skills, which the HEIs will incorporate in the curriculum. |
