Summary | My Robot, My LearnMate is a project which develops, fosters and promotes interdisciplinary and diversity. Partnership focuses on three core areas of action, around the three words: Engage, Connect and Empower. Schools Engage, Connect and Empower the acquisition of knowledge, the development of skills and attitudes in an interdisciplinary way connecting the Robotics and AI, STEM Education for Sustainable Development, Social and Emotional Learning and Inclusive Culture intended and available to all students with all their specific interests and needs. Partnership Engage, Connect and Empower five schools with different experience and different expertise in key areas and two faculties that provide schools with direct and complete support and all the necessary help in the use of advanced and latest technology in an innovative, accessible and interdisciplinary way. Objectives: - Promote interdisciplinary inquiry-based learning and scientific thinking and practice. - Encourage interactive, learner-centered teaching that enables exploratory, action-oriented, reflective and transformative learning. - Promote the responsible, innovative and creative use of the latest advanced technology (robotics and AI) and enable students to be creators of a better future and a better world with the help of technology. - Reinforce a whole institution approach that focuses on the systemic development of the educational facility towards quality education and sustainability and considers the role of management at the school, state or government level. - Foster independent thinking and responsible action that takes place in the learner context and involves the institution’s social and natural environment, providing the opportunity to implement and experience real changes in the learners’ own community, which then strengthens their capacity for agency. - Be compatible with the goals of sustainable development, emotional and social growth and development. - Continuously develop and improve an inclusive culture and empathy, ensure accessibility for all and under equal conditions in order to improve self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making. -Strengthen evidence-based and reasoned argumentation, recognize complexity, promote diversity of opinion and change of perspectives, and encourage the critical reflection of values. - Empower present and future generations to use science, technology, engineering, and mathematics skills as well as social and emotional skills and reflective reasoning to solve complex sustainability problems. Results: 1. Certified and open online training program for teachers on the use of the humanoid robot NAO in education 2. Certified and open online training program for students on the STEM Education for Sustainable Development 3. Certified and open online training program for students on the Social and Emotional Learning and Inclusive Culture 4. Manuals and methods for using the NAO robot in education and examples of good practices of using robots as teaching assistants on five languages: English, Croatian, Polish, Portuguese and German language 5. Manuals and methods for using the NAO robot in STEM Education for Sustainable Development and examples of good practices on five languages: English, Croatian, Polish, Portuguese and German language 6. Manuals and methods for using the NAO robot in Social and Emotional Learning and Inclusive Culture and examples of good practices on five languages: English, Croatian, Polish, Portuguese and German language. |
